(IBTSC) IBTSC conducts early-stage research and development, and provides materials, sensors, design, and device technology solutions to improve energy efficiency, reduce cost, and solve the grand challenges facing various industries, including renewable energy, utility, building technology, data storage, and medical devices. The company also provides technology and business consulting services to support local and global companies. 3rd Place Tie: Florida Solar Energy Center Energy Resource Center and National Energy Laboratory of Hawaii Authority

Florida Solar Energy Center Energy Research Center (FSEC-ERC) is the state’s premier energy research center. Its mission aims to research and develop energy technologies that enhance Florida’s and the nation’s economy and environment and to educate the public, students, and practitioners on the results of the research. This Connector is supporting Solar Prize teams in the following areas: Competition support and pitch prep, and connection to extended network.

The mission of the Natural Energy of Hawaii Authority (NELHA) is to develop and diversify the Hawaii economy by providing resources and facilities for energy and ocean-related research, education, and commercial activities in an environmentally sound and culturally sensitive manner. This Connector is supporting Solar Prize teams in the following areas: Mentorship and knowledge sharing; lab and facility access; competition support and pitch prep; connection to extended network.
