The Mississippi Development Authority (MDA) is the state’s lead economic and community development agency. The agency works to recruit new business to the state, retain and expand existing industry and business, provides technical assistance to the state’s entrepreneurs and minority and women-owned businesses. The agency manages the state’s energy programs and enables communities to become more competitive. MDA promotes Mississippi as a tourism destination and supports the creative economy.
